Exercere x Sandra Willer

This campaign was the culmination of a year-long collaboration between Exercere and recognised Danish influencer, Sandra Willer. Exercere and Sandra wanted to create a powerful narrative based on Sandra's life and everyday life in Australia. To set the mood, we moved the production to Marbella, where we shot both the video and photo campaign over two days.

Our method of execution

Planning

A month before the shoot, we had the initial meeting about expectations, deliveries and deadlines. Exercere wanted us to do the entire production in Marbella, which placed extra demands on the planning and coordination of location, equipment hire and luggage. We provided a treatment that encapsulated both the creative direction for video and stills, and prepared a carefully organised shooting schedule to make the best use of time on location. With an approved treatment and equipment in place with a Spanish equipment hire company, we were ready for an intense two-day production.

Shooting

We flew early in the morning so we could pick up the equipment, explore the location and prepare before the golden hour on the first day, which was essential to shoot in order to fulfil the planned shots. On day two, we took advantage of the sunrise and were then able to use the natural progression of the day to tell the story.

Editing and delivery

We had a 10-day deadline to deliver all agreed creatives. This deadline was extremely important to meet as the entire clothing collection had a pre-determined launch date with a launch event, website update and major collaborations with several different influencers. The agreement with Exercere also included three teaser videos to generate traffic and sign-ups to their emails. Therefore, deadlines were set for the individual video campaigns so they could distribute them as they were finalised. Two days before launch, all creatives were in place, approved and delivered.
