Gjensidige Employer Branding

Gjensidige approached us to produce the campaign film for their new recruitment campaign. They had a goal to grow their organisation further with skilled employees across all departments. At the same time, they wanted the video to make current employees proud of their workplace to retain a good workforce. The big challenge was to incorporate all of Gjensidige's departments into one video. We agreed on a concept that takes the viewer through one working day, taking them through the different roles, types and ages across five different departments. In all scenes, we emphasised that employees trust each other and that they are never alone in the workplace.

Our method of execution

Alignment of expectations

We started the whole process with a creative meeting, where we got an insight into Gjensidiges beliefs, values and goals. This gave us a better understanding of their company and how we should approach their upcoming recruitment campaign. We made a rough, but creative, storyline everyone agreed upon, so we could proceed with the storyboard process. Back at the office we developed and drawed the storyboard to fully visualise our concept, creative ideas and we would stitch together the story. Alongside the storyboard we began planning our shooting days, casting of 40 employees and the production crew. Two weeks prior to the first shooting day, we had a final meeting making sure everything was in order. This included the casting of employees, details and every location were set.

Days of shooting

We had planned three shooting days and everyday was very well coordinated due to the big cast. The last thing we wanted was to waste people's time. Every day had three or four scenes planned all with different levels of difficulty in terms of camera movement and lighting. All this was accounted for and made the shooting process smooth and efficient.

Editing and delivery

We had a tight collaboration with Gjensidige in the post production. We wanted to minimise time waste and get all steps approved as we progressed with the editing. With close contact to Gjensidiges project lead, Amalie, we managed to keep a high tempo with quick approvals from their side. We aimed for a good and playful vibe and used the soundtrack creatively to underline the more serious elements of Gjensidiges daily task. The final product was high paced, entertaining, serious and underlined the motto of mutual trust between their employees. The full video is also well suited for cutdowns to more specific work areas, which will work in their strategy for more specific roles.
